Joe D’Ovidio is a British Italian director & screenwriter based in Los Angeles.
His stories explore dark moral complexities, with humour and warmth.
Supported by Screenskills awards, Joe studied Film & TV Production at the University of the Arts, London, and later directing under founding Actors Studio member Jack Garfein and UCLA extension.
A Soho Theatre Young Writer, he has directed the bite-size documentary, “Kubrick’s Napoleon” for Channel 4 and the Film London short, “WELCOME TO NEVERLAND”.
His new short, “A DRIVE AT DAWN”, a silent supernatural western starring Eric Lampaert, premiered at San Diego Comic-Con and is currently on the festival circuit.
